The volume collects the critical notes written daily by the author in the course of 2000, on the basis of a program set at the beginning of the year, but that has been spelled out day by day, week by week, month by month. The intention was to mark that moment of particular importance in the way of recording the passage of time, the passage of the millennium, with a particular project, arising from the direct attendance of many artists, exhibitions and initiatives, combining attention to the works individual authors and extremely personal considerations, minimally filtered by more pondered evaluations. Il volume raccoglie le note critiche stese quotidianamente dall’autore nel corso del 2000, sulla base di un programma impostato all’inizio dell’anno, ma che si è andato precisando giorno per giorno, settimana per settimana, mese per mese. L’intenzione è stata quella di scandire quel momento di particolare importanza nel modo di registrare il trascorrere del tempo, il passaggio di millennio, con un progetto particolare, scaturito della diretta frequentazione di molti artisti, di mostre e iniziative, unendo attenzioni per le opere dei singoli autori e considerazioni estremamente personali, minimamente filtrate da valutazioni più meditate.
