A sculptured life size ice coffin is carried into the Luxembourg forest; at the ambient temperature it melts slowly but inexorably. This object, which refers to frozen coffins and crystal cases of fables and myths, also represents the death of a common good like water, which is the support of life. The ice coffin is also a metaphor of how the dream of an enchanted country, in the midst of rich Europe, full of castles and hunting estates, is ephemeral and destined to fade.

Una bara di ghiaccio scolpita in dimensioni reali e portata nel bosco Lussemburghese; a temperatura ambiente si scioglie lentamente ma inesorabilmente. Questo oggetto, che rimanda a bare ghiacciate e teche di cristallo di favole e miti, rappresenta anche la morte di un bene comune come l’acqua, che è il sostegno della vita. La bara di ghiaccio è anche una metafora di quanto il sogno di un paese incantato, nel mezzo della ricca Europa, piena di castelli e di tenute di caccia, sia effimero e destinato a svanire.
